Bought this for myself and I regret nothing. The winged warrior standing over her in that purple smoke, sitting on my shelf under my fairy lights, it's the exact scene from my favorite series without me having to explain it to anyone. My roommate saw it and immediately asked where I got it.

Got this for my friend who has reread her comfort series probably a dozen times and she went completely quiet when she pulled it out of the box. The woman in the red gown, the black smoke, the tiny rose at the tip, she keeps it on her nightstand next to her books and I catch her just looking at it before bed.

My wife surprised me with this for our anniversary and I'm not going to lie, this thing is so cool. Something about the winged figure kneeling in all those silver stars just hits different when you know the story behind it. It sits on my reading shelf now, right next to the books it came from. It's become my little corner.
My Process...
Every dagger starts as an empty blade of clear resin. I paint her by hand first — the gown, the hair, every fold of fabric under a magnifier — then set her into the pour along with the smoke, the roses, and the gold, one layer at a time with tweezers. The handle gets wrapped in torn silk last, strip by strip. Most of the details you won't even notice until the light catches the blade just right. That's on purpose.
